President of Serbia Aleksandar Vuchic immediately regretted the burning cathedral of Notre Dame, regretted to the French President, French nation and Catholic believers. Also, the clergy of the Serbian Orthodox Church urged their believers to understand that the Notre Dame cathedral is the common value of our Christian European civilization.

Abbot Sava Janjic of monastery of the Serbian Orthodox Church Visoki Dechani in Kosovo from the 14th century wrote on his Facebook profile in English language:

After the yesterday fire which severely damaged one of the oldest European Cathedrals, which announced in 1389 the victory of the Serbian Christian Army at Kosovo Field, we express the deepest solidarity with all Christians of France and all its citizens for which this church has been a symbol of identity. May God grant the speedy reconstruction of this beautiful church so that it may rise again in all its splendour.

But in our time, recently, at the Notre Dame Cathedral was the flag of an independent Kosovo that Albanian Islamic terrorists with the help of the NATO had taken away from Serbia. At the ceremony on the occasion of the First World War, prominent the flag of the Albanian state of Kosovo, which at the time did not exist or participated in the war, because Kosovo was part of Serbia, and Serbia has suffered a lot in that war and the Serbian army has been fighting a lot on the side of the allies, and Serbia has been a winner.

While Albanian terrorists in Serbian Kosovo and Metohija since the 1980s to date, burned and destroyed over 120 Christian orthodox Serbian churches and monasteries most of the Middle Ages, and cemeteries, and killed our monks and nuns, did the West complain? Not. West has supported Albanian Islamic terrorists to destroy Christian culture in this part of Europe, in the Balkans, in Serbia, and kill the Serbian Christian people and expel them from their province of Serbia Kosovo and Metohija. Metohija has got a name from word ”metoh” that means a monastery estate and land. It's a name from the early Middle Ages. In this case “metoh” refer to Serbian Orthodox monasteries that have many in Kosovo and Metohija and the vast majority are from the Middle Ages.

This is not just politics,
but above all else this is
defense and protection of Christianity
on the land, ground and soil
of Europe and the Balkans!

Serbian Orthodox monk Hariton
in Kosovo in Prizren, Albanian terrorists
kidnappined him in 1999.
on the apparent international forces of KFOR,
tortured him and with a shouting
"Alah Ekber!" cut off his head!

"Immediately after the entry of German KFOR forces into Kosmet (Kosovo and Metohija), members of the terrorist organization KLA kidnapped father Hariton on June 15, 1999. The criminals caught him on apparently KFOR soldiers who did nothing to prevent the crime, while Father Hariton was taken to torture and suffering .... All evidence, as well as an expert report, was handed over to investigators of the International War Crimes Tribunal in The Hague, but the court did not take any action."

Albanians with a shouting "Alah Ekber" cut off the head of the Serbian monk ...

Pogrom (тerror) against the Serbs
17.-18. March 2004
in Kosovo and Metohija
CRIME WITHOUT PUNISHMENT

"Only in two days, March 17 and 18, 2014, in Kosovo and Metohija, with the presence and peaceful observation of KFOR's international forces, the Albanians committed terrible terror against the Serbs. They killed 28 Serbs, expelled about 4000 people (mostly Serbs, but also Roma, Ashkali, etc.), set fire to and destroyed 35 Serbian Christian Orthodox monasteries and churches. They destroyed 930 Serbian houses, dozens of schools, culture centers, hospitals, etc."

after the pogrom (terror) in March 17, 2004

"A list of devastated orthodox holy sites in Kosovo and Metohija 1999 is a systematic display of all Serbian churches, monasteries and other holy places destroyed, damaged, desecrated and looted from June to October 1999, after the end of the NATO bombing of the FR Yugoslavia and the arrival of KFOR international forces on Kosovo and Metohija.

Thus, already on June 14, 1999, kidnapping and killing of Serbs began, with the presence of KFOR members. Among the first were the Hieromonk Seraphim and the monk Hariton. This kind of KFOR behavior resulted in the growing emigration of Serbs. In just a few months, more than 250,000 have been expelled.

Within a few months of the arrival of KFOR, over 100 churches, monasteries, churches and cemeteries have been destroyed. While the ecclesiastical valuables in Kosovo and Metohija from the demolished and looted sanctuaries were subject to the illegal trade of Albanians and soldiers from KFOR.

In addition to worthy liturgical items, entire "galleries" icons on iconostasis, works of the most famous icons and painters from the 16th to the 19th century were also destroyed. The number of icons on one iconostasis varies depending on its size from 20 to 50, and even up to 70. The lowest average of the destroyed churches and monasteries was about 35 icons. When this, the lowest number is multiplied by the 76 demolished temples listed on this page (the list is described with detailed information), a tragic result is obtained, of more than 2,660 irretrievably disappearing icons.

With all these devastated Orthodox holy sites, were looted or burned monasteries and parish buildings, and desecrated cemeteries. Despite the criticism of the international public until now, 2019, no one case of the demolition of churches and monasteries and other Orthodox shrines from 1999 has NOT been illuminated, nor is one culprit caught. On the contrary, seizures continue, one of which was larger in March 2004, and the number of fatal shrines has been rising steadily.

... the authorities in Pristina have unequivocally never condemned the barbaric destruction of Serbian churches, monasteries and cemeteries in 1999, 2004, and even later."

The Battles on Kosovo in which
Serbs defended Christian Europe
from conquest and Islamization
from Turks 1389 and from Albanians 1999

At the time of the Turkish conquest of Europe in the Middle Ages, the Turks were much more numerous and militarily stronger than Serbia, but the Serbs did not want to betray Christ and Orthodox Christianity, to accept Islam and let the Turks conquer and Islamize Europe. On the offer of the Turks to be their ally and vassal, the ruler of Serbia Saint knez Lazar replied: "Earth Empire is short, but the Heavenly Empire (Kingdom of God) is eternal", and therefore Serbs are fighting in Serbian Kosovo in 1389, and the Serbs defended Europe from the Turks and Islamization. In this battle, where the Turks were much more numerous than the Serbs, the Saint Prince Lazar and almost all Serbian noblemen-knights were killed for Christ.

In the first part of the battle in Kosovo when the people thought that the Serbs would win the Turks, the Notre Dame Cathedral bell-ringing as a sign of victory of the Christian Serbian army.
